Hang tight, upgrading in progress

You might notice a slight slow down in our service this week as our servers are starting to max out from volume of users. We apologize for the inconvenience. We’re working to upgrade and improve the performance right now and hope everything will run as per normal by next week.

For users waiting to get their beta invites, we’ll be sending those out next week too. *fingers crossed*

Improved Topic creation interface with Include/Exclude functionality

Over the last few weeks we have been talking to beta users and receiving invaluable feedback. We also asked ourselves if we could simplify the JamiQ interface while making the tool even more powerful. Today we are proud to announce that we’ve done it.

Create a better Topic

We have redesigned the Add Topic page to a simple four-step process that can be completed on a single page. Compared to our former two page version, this new one reduces unnecessary confusion. Even in the midst of simplifying the process of creating a Topic, we have added the much requested ability for users to manipulate keywords with Include and Exclude features.

Adding the functionality to Include and Exclude keywords is very significant as it enables you to get more accurate results in your monitoring.

Faster, faster!
Another thing you might notice is that charts and pages will load faster. We’ve made use of caching to improve the performance of data extraction to your Topic dashboards.

Thanks everyone who gave fantastic feedback. We’re still happy to hear more from you. Stay tuned as there will be more updates and improvements to come really soon.

By the way, Happy 090909!
